iBats is at the core of the two medical messaging systems of Belgium.
Combined, both systems are being used by some 10 000 users (physicians, hospitals, labs, …).
For transfering health information, the "ordre des médecins", requires a very high security. Moreover, a speedy and user friendly system is particulary needed in this domain.
On the international scene, iBats is currently being deployed in several countries.
