iBats includes a PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) based on multiple key pairs cryptographic algorithms guaranteeing:
- authentification (of the identity of both senders and receivers)
- confidentiality (the message can only be read by the intended receiver)
- message integrity (the message is not modified during the transfer)
- non-repudiation (the electronic equivalent of a registered letter)
Key certification and management by a trusted third party:
Depending on the needs, the certification authority can perform the full keys logistics.
Standard crypto algorythms and protocols:
iBats is exclusively based on internet standards (AES, RSA, PKCS, …). Key length is adjustable, with a minimum of 1024 bits.
